LEATHER CELL PHONE HOLDER

This is my first attempt at leatherwork. I was intrigued by forming shapes with leather. I came up with this design for hanging a cell phone while it’s charging.

I made up a set of patterns with some paper.

Then I cut up the pattern shapes using an old leather purse.

Cut some forms for shaping the leather.

Wet the leather for a few minutes.

Then clamp the leather around the forms.

I left the forms clamped on overnight. Then after the leather was completely dry, I used epoxy glue to assemble shapes together. I was pleased with the result.
