DOUBLE ENDED CALIPERS

For checking the thickness of a bowl or vase when turning on a lathe, these come in handy.

I tapped the pivot point to accept a 10-32 screw. Since the plywood is so thin, I first drilled the hole for the tap, and then coated the hole with some super glue. Then I had to re-drill the hole before tapping it. I also coated the four tips of the caliper with the super glue so that they wouldn’t break off.
