Every year, at Christmastime, members in our woodworkers guild make presents to donate to needy children. This year I made up eight board games. I made up a couple different sizes.

When cutting the dados with a dado blade, there was a lot of chip out on the finished board. I was able to dress it up though, with stain and a foam brush.
The smaller board is 12 ½” square. The dados are cut 5/16” deep, making 1 3/16” squares. The walls are cut from 1/8” Masonite, 1 ¼” by 2 ½”. The player pieces are 5/8” dowels, cut 1 5/8” tall.
