I found this pattern for a bud vase that really caught my eye.

I used walnut to accent the oak.

You want to get all the finish sanding done before you glue it together, because it would be too hard to get inside everything after it’s assembled.

Just glue everything up in stages.

This makes a nice gift for anyone.
