DEEP PICTURE FRAME

This was an easy frame to make.

I started out by cutting a groove 1-1/8” deep and 1/8” wide. Then I moved the fence over 1/8” and also lowered the blade by 1/8”. I kept repeating this to create the look that I wanted. I also made a rabbet on the back side for a backer board, for mounting the picture.

After lightly smoothing the edge off of all the ridges with some sandpaper, and some paint, it turned out quite well.
